Christmas Round up!

On the run up to Christmas we simply could not help ourselves and got wrapped up in the spirit of season. Our first festive frolic was the Jolly Jumper Day on Thursday 7 December. This day, as in previous years, was in aid of North East Autism Society and we were thrilled to see so many of our tenants across Hope Street Xchange and St Peter’s Gate sporting their Christmas jumpers.

While the day was all just a bit of fun, there was a competitive edge. The judges decided that the Jolliest Jumper of them all was Jed’s from Uplift. His Ceefax/Teletext jumper was ranked as Top of the Tops and Jed took away a bottle of bubbles for his efforts.  We raised over £200 for this great charity, and we can’t wait to do it all over again in 2024. We would say that’s fair warning to get knitting your own design – needles at the ready!

To round off the festive fun, on Thursday 14 December Hope Street Xchange hosted a Christmas Mini Market. A selection of seasonal stalls was on offer selling various goods from local sellers, ranging from handmade crafts to baked treats. On behalf of our team, we hope that all our clients and visitors have a wonderful Christmas, and we will see you all in 2024 for another packed and productive year.
